The Early Nutrition Academy (ENA) was established with the Early Nutrition Programming Project (EARNEST) to promote science of early nutrition and metabolic programming, in particular as it relates to nutrition in women of childbearing age, infants, and children, including basic science, epidemiology and applied nutrition, as well as standards of nutrition practice.

The Early Nutrition Academy (ENA), supported by the most prestigious researchers in the field, was designed to:Offer a comprehensive curriculum on mother-infant and pediatric nutritional programming research, literature, and clinical trials.

Provide well-founded advice on preventing, diagnosing, and managing early nutrition programming for adult diseases.

Offer unique opportunities to learn and interact with other researchers and expert faculty from various International Centers from around the world interested in “Early Nutrition Programming”.

Furthermore, ENA fosters nutrition education; in this regard, over the past 20 years, ENA has organized a series of highly successful Symposiums, Training and Postgraduate courses for young scientists committed to pediatric nutrition research. These courses have provided scientific information up-to-date, trained communication and presentation skills, helped younger academicians to network, build scientific careers, and fostered enthusiasm in the participating scholars. The success of these courses is of high interest, as they help to considerably strengthen the field of academic pediatric nutrition all over the world.

This new ENA Postgraduate Course will be held Thursday, June 29th 2023 at the University of Granada with the main topic: “Early Life and Long-term Health”.
